Last Updated: August 25, 2026

Welcome to MJ Travel Group & Events, Inc.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern travel planning, reservations, bookings, and related services provided by MJ Travel Group & Events, Inc. (“MJ Travel Group & Events,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

MJ Travel Group & Events is a Texas-based travel agency providing professional travel planning, reservation management, destination wedding travel, honeymoon travel, group travel coordination, cruises, vacation packages, and other travel-related services.

By requesting travel services, approving a proposal, signing a travel agreement, authorizing payment, making a deposit or other payment, or confirming travel arrangements through MJ Travel Group & Events, you (“Client,” “Traveler,” “you,” or “your”) acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Your reservation may also be governed by the separate terms, conditions, rules, cancellation policies, and restrictions of the applicable airline, hotel, resort, cruise line, tour operator, transportation provider, travel insurance provider, excursion company, or other independent travel supplier.

1. OUR ROLE AS YOUR TRAVEL ADVISOR

MJ Travel Group & Events acts as a professional travel advisor and intermediary between travelers and independent travel suppliers.

These suppliers may include, but are not limited to:

  • Airlines

  • Hotels and resorts

  • Cruise lines

  • Tour operators

  • Transportation companies

  • Excursion and activity providers

  • Travel insurance providers

  • Car rental companies

  • Destination management companies

  • Other travel-related service providers

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, MJ Travel Group & Events does not own, operate, manage, or control these independent suppliers.

We assist our clients with researching, arranging, booking, and managing travel services based upon the information and preferences provided to us.

2. RESERVATIONS & DEPOSITS

A deposit or full payment may be required to secure travel arrangements.

Deposit requirements vary depending on the:

  • Supplier

  • Destination

  • Travel dates

  • Type of reservation

  • Room category

  • Airline fare

  • Cruise fare

  • Group contract

  • Promotional offer

Rates, promotions, room categories, airline seats, cruise cabins, and availability are not guaranteed until the reservation has been confirmed and the required payment has been successfully processed.

A quote, proposal, or itinerary does not constitute a confirmed reservation.

Travel prices and availability may change at any time before payment and confirmation.

3. LEGAL NAMES & TRAVELER INFORMATION

All reservations must be made using each traveler's full legal name exactly as it appears on the passport or government-issued identification that will be used for travel.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate:

  • Legal names

  • Dates of birth

  • Gender information when required by the supplier

  • Passport information when required

  • Contact information

  • Travel dates

  • Departure cities

  • Traveler details

Before approving a reservation, clients must carefully review all information provided.

Any name correction or other change requested after booking may result in:

  • Supplier fees

  • Airline change fees

  • Fare differences

  • Cancellation and rebooking

  • Loss of promotional pricing

  • Administrative fees

Some suppliers may not permit name changes or substitutions.

4. PROFESSIONAL PLANNING & SERVICE FEES

MJ Travel Group & Events may charge professional fees for services including, but not limited to:

  • Travel consultation

  • Vacation planning

  • Customized research

  • Itinerary preparation

  • Destination wedding planning

  • Group travel coordination

  • Reservation management

  • Rebooking

  • Administrative services

  • Reservation changes

  • Other professional services

Any applicable planning or professional service fee will be disclosed to the client before payment.

Unless otherwise stated in writing or required by applicable law, professional planning and service fees paid directly to MJ Travel Group & Events are non-refundable once services have begun, as these fees compensate the agency for professional time, research, consultation, administrative work, and services performed.

Payment of a planning fee does not guarantee the availability or price of a particular resort, hotel, cruise, airfare, package, promotion, or other travel service.

5. PAYMENTS

Payments may be processed through:

  • TravelJoy

  • An approved travel supplier

  • An approved tour operator

  • An authorized payment processor

  • Another payment platform approved by MJ Travel Group & Events

Payment requirements and deadlines vary by supplier and reservation.

The payment deadline stated on your:

  • Invoice

  • Proposal

  • Reservation confirmation

  • Payment schedule

  • Group agreement

  • Supplier documentation

will govern your specific reservation.

Many vacation packages and group reservations require final payment approximately 60–90 days before departure, but some suppliers require payment earlier or later.

Clients are responsible for making all payments by the stated deadlines.

MJ Travel Group & Events is not responsible for a reservation being canceled by a supplier because the client failed to make payment by the required deadline.

6. MISSED OR LATE PAYMENTS

Failure to make a required payment by the stated deadline may result in:

  • Cancellation of the reservation

  • Loss of deposit

  • Loss of promotional pricing

  • Loss of group space

  • Loss of hotel room inventory

  • Loss of airline inventory

  • Supplier cancellation penalties

  • Rebooking at a higher price

MJ Travel Group & Events cannot guarantee that a canceled reservation can be reinstated at the original price or under the original terms.

Any reinstatement is subject to supplier approval and availability.

7. PRICING & AVAILABILITY

Travel pricing is dynamic and may change at any time prior to confirmation.

Changes may occur because of:

  • Airfare fluctuations

  • Hotel rate changes

  • Supplier inventory

  • Taxes

  • Resort fees

  • Government fees

  • Fuel surcharges

  • Currency exchange fluctuations

  • Promotional changes

  • Supplier pricing adjustments

A quote or proposal is provided for informational and planning purposes and does not guarantee price or availability.

Pricing and availability are only considered secured after the applicable supplier has confirmed the reservation and accepted the required payment.

MJ Travel Group & Events is not responsible for price increases or loss of availability occurring before payment is processed.

8. CANCELLATIONS

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

A cancellation is not considered received until MJ Travel Group & Events acknowledges the request.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, MJ Travel Group & Events charges a:

$125 per person cancellation fee

This agency cancellation fee is in addition to any fees, penalties, or non-refundable amounts imposed by the travel supplier.

Supplier cancellation penalties vary depending on:

  • Supplier

  • Type of reservation

  • Travel dates

  • Date cancellation is requested

  • Airline fare

  • Hotel or room category

  • Cruise fare

  • Promotional terms

  • Group contract

  • Package restrictions

Submitting a cancellation request does not automatically entitle the traveler to a refund.

9. REFUNDS

Refund eligibility is determined primarily by the rules and policies of the applicable travel supplier.

Certain:

  • Deposits

  • Airfares

  • Promotional rates

  • Group rates

  • Hotel reservations

  • Cruise fares

  • Vacation packages

  • Excursions

  • Transportation services

  • Professional service fees

may be non-refundable and/or non-transferable.

If a supplier approves a refund, the refund will be processed according to that supplier's policies and processing timeline.

MJ Travel Group & Events does not control the supplier's refund-processing timeframe and cannot guarantee the date on which a supplier-issued refund will be received.

Professional planning fees, administrative fees, and cancellation fees paid directly to MJ Travel Group & Events may remain non-refundable even when a supplier authorizes a refund, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

10. FUTURE TRAVEL CREDITS

When a supplier issues a future travel credit, the credit remains subject to the supplier's rules.

The supplier may establish:

  • Expiration dates

  • Book-by dates

  • Travel-by dates

  • Eligible travelers

  • Eligible destinations

  • Eligible products

  • Transfer restrictions

  • Rebooking requirements

Clients are responsible for using travel credits before the applicable expiration or travel deadline.

MJ Travel Group & Events cannot extend, modify, transfer, or reinstate a supplier-issued travel credit unless the supplier expressly authorizes it.

11. RESERVATION CHANGES & REVISIONS

Requests to change an existing reservation are subject to supplier approval and availability.

Changes may include:

  • Travel dates

  • Traveler names

  • Resorts or hotels

  • Room categories

  • Cruise cabins

  • Flights

  • Destinations

  • Transfers

  • Excursions

  • Other reservation components

Changes may result in:

  • Supplier penalties

  • Airline penalties

  • Fare differences

  • Increased hotel rates

  • Loss of promotions

  • Loss of availability

  • Administrative fees

If a travel-planning service includes a limited number of complimentary revisions, additional revisions may be subject to an additional professional service fee disclosed to the client.

A requested change is not confirmed until written confirmation has been provided.

12. REBOOKINGS & REINSTATEMENTS

If a reservation is canceled and later reinstated or rebooked, the original:

  • Price

  • Promotion

  • Room category

  • Airline fare

  • Cruise cabin

  • Amenities

  • Group benefits

may no longer be available.

Rebookings and reinstatements are subject to current availability and pricing.

Additional supplier and/or agency fees may apply.

13. TRAVEL INSURANCE / TRAVEL PROTECTION

MJ Travel Group & Events strongly recommends the purchase of travel insurance or travel protection to help protect your travel investment.

Depending upon the policy purchased, coverage may be available for circumstances including:

  • Trip cancellation

  • Trip interruption

  • Travel delay

  • Missed connections

  • Emergency medical expenses

  • Emergency evacuation

  • Baggage loss or delay

  • Other covered events

Coverage varies by insurance provider and policy.

Clients are responsible for reviewing:

  • Benefits

  • Coverage limits

  • Exclusions

  • Eligibility requirements

  • Pre-existing condition provisions

  • Purchase deadlines

  • Claim requirements

Some benefits may only be available when coverage is purchased within a specified period after the initial trip payment.

MJ Travel Group & Events is not the insurance company and does not determine whether an insurance claim will be approved or denied.

Insurance claims must be submitted to and evaluated by the applicable insurance provider.

If a traveler declines travel insurance or protection, the traveler assumes responsibility for financial losses arising from circumstances that might otherwise have been covered by an insurance policy.

14. AIRLINE RESERVATIONS

Airline tickets are subject to the individual airline's fare rules and conditions.

Airline tickets may be:

  • Non-refundable

  • Non-transferable

  • Subject to change fees

  • Subject to fare differences

  • Restricted in other ways

Airlines control their own schedules and operations.

An airline may change:

  • Departure times

  • Arrival times

  • Flight numbers

  • Aircraft

  • Routes

  • Connecting cities

  • Seat assignments

  • Baggage policies

  • Baggage fees

Airlines may also delay or cancel flights.

MJ Travel Group & Events has no control over airline operational decisions.

15. FLIGHT SCHEDULE CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

Travelers are responsible for monitoring their flight schedules before departure.

We strongly recommend checking directly with the airline:

  • 24–48 hours before departure

MJ Travel Group & Events will provide reasonable assistance when flight changes occur; however, additional costs associated with:

  • Rebooking

  • Meals

  • Hotels

  • Ground transportation

  • Missed connections

  • Additional airfare

may remain the responsibility of the traveler, subject to airline rules and any travel insurance coverage purchased.

16. AIRLINE SEATING

Seat assignments are controlled by the airline.

Although MJ Travel Group & Events may assist with seat requests, we cannot guarantee:

  • Specific seats

  • Travelers seated together

  • Window or aisle seats

  • Upgrades

  • Extra-legroom seats

Airlines may modify seat assignments at any time, including after seats have been selected or paid for.

  • Prohibited items

  • Applicable fees

MJ Travel Group & Events is not responsible for baggage that is:

  • Lost

  • Delayed

  • Misrouted

  • Damaged

Baggage claims should be reported directly to the applicable carrier and, when appropriate, the travel insurance provider.

24. RESORT RENOVATIONS & CONSTRUCTION

Hotels and resorts may perform renovations, maintenance, construction, or operational changes before or during a traveler's stay.

When MJ Travel Group & Events receives material information from a supplier that may affect a client's stay, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate that information.

However, suppliers may not always provide advance notification.

MJ Travel Group & Events is not responsible for construction, renovations, closures, or operational changes controlled by the supplier.
